Pitches

We commission from clinicians, researchers, coaches and careful amateurs. What makes a pitch work here:

• A specific claim you want to examine, not a topic
• The evidence you have already looked at, including what contradicts you
• A willingness to publish the null result if that is where it lands

What does not work: listicles, anything with a product at the end, and any piece whose conclusion is fixed before the research starts.

We do not accept samples, sponsorship, affiliate arrangements, or embargoed access in exchange for coverage. Please do not post us anything — it will not be reviewed and we cannot return it.

If you are a company we have written about and you believe we have made a factual error, use the corrections address above. You will get the same process as everyone else.
